Aarya Review.

One of the most anticipated web series of this year i.e Aarya is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. I was looking forward to the show since the moment I saw the trailer. And if you haven't seen it yet, go now and watch it. It was a thrilling experience, witnessing the comeback of Sushmita Sen, and oh my god what a comeback she made totally hands down it was one of the best performance of Sushmita Sen's career.
Aarya is a crime thriller limited series by Hotstar. It is a remake of a Dutch webseries penoza. And some people are ranting about it, but we should focus on the quality content they are providing. Despite being a remake Aarya has its own style of telling a compelling story. Storytelling was amazing, the thrill that starts from first episode stays with us till the final episode. Aarya is a story of a mafia family. The wife of a mafia didn't know about his business until he get shot by a rival. Then after him the wife takeover the business and during that how she faces some problems, and how she overcomes those problems and to what extent she goes to protect her family is the story of Aarya.
The direction of the show is to the point and never felt like it lack something. Cinematography is brilliant. Some of the shots in the show leave you baffled. While the first and last few episodes have a thrilling experience to them some of the episodes after episode 3 kind of feels slow, but other than that these episodes give us the idea about mafia world and what family means in the mafia world. Director put forward the compelling story in front of the viewers so smoothly. One of the things I liked the most in the show is how the story so simple makes the deep impact on the viewers. The writing is brilliant, intense scenes are handled very craftily, and the amazing plot of the series makes you sit on your place and watch the complete show.
Now about performances, the two leads of the show performed brilliantly so we will talk about them later, firstly about the supporting cast. Sohaila Kapoor played a part of a woman who was abandoned by her husband, and she played her part brilliantly. Also vishwajeet Pradhan played a role of a reckless goon very well. Vikas Kumar as a cop was phenomenal. We saw him in the TV show Cid, and here he is performing his part very well. One of the lead of the show was chandrachur singh. Playing the part of criminal doing some shady work. I was happy as he is one of the faces from 90's, and it good to see that now he had given a role where he can perform and show his versatility. And lastly and the most important character of the series Aarya i.e Sushmita Sen, what can I say about her, she was making her return and she just slayed everything in this show. It reminded me of the time when I first watched her in main hoon Na and literally fell in love with her. The expressions, the reactions , and the acting was so brilliant. In my opinion noone would have done this level of incredible work other than her. So this was all about Aarya. The directors and actors have told us great story and provided us with brilliant content. These are all the ups and downs for the show according to me, so you can now decide whether you want to give it a try or not.
