Dark Season 3 Review 'A Perfect Sendoff to The Well Crafted Netflix Original'

A tempting thriller that was playing with our minds from the very first episode has come to an end. Mindbending Netflix original Dark's last season finally released on 27 June. As a fan, I was really looking forward for the last season. After remembering game of thrones and star wars I lowered my expectations, but still I was expecting a bit. And I should be clear about this...The last season of Dark is a Masterpiece. The excellent storytelling and in my opinion one of the best finale for a show. What I witnessed is not explainable, I felt lucky that I found this series and was able to watch it. The suspense and thrill that started from first episode lasted till the last one. The brilliant storyline, excellent direction, terrific performances, and amazing screenplay made dark what it is, a mindbending masterpiece. Not only the story but the philosophical aspects about dark are truly splendid.

Finally we have the answers for how everything is connected and how the beginning is the end and the the end is the beginning. Dark is definitely going to go down in history as one of the best shows ever.

Storyline-  (Spoilers ahead)
In first season story started by the death of Jonas's father Micheal kahnwald. Later on as the story unveils we get to know some things which are frightening. As the story proceed further we get to know that Micheal is actually mikkel (Ulrich and Katharina's son) who traveled back in 1980's. Each of the character's arc slowly move towards time travel thing. Jonas firstly travel to the past where he see Mikkel but the older version of Jonas tell him that if you took Mikkel back you will not be born. In the finale of second season the concept of alternate reality is introduced and this is where the most tricky part begins. Handling two alternate worlds both having different personas of every character, and still managing everything in timeline perfectly took tremendous efforts. And the directors are truly intelligent about handling the situation and put forward the story in least confusing way possible. Last season starts with Jonas and Martha in alternate universe where he meet eve (older Martha). She tells misleads him to make him do certain things to keep the cycle going. Adam was trying to break the cycle. For the whole time we thought Adam was the bad guy. But now we finally know why he was doing everything. Adam believed that Martha and Jonas's baby was the origin and the end of all this time travel mess. He kills Martha several times and in the end he killed her by causing apocalypse in both worlds. But just after that he realize that it's bigger than that, and that he knows nothing. After that Claudia walks in (yeah Claudia is dead, but as we know nobody is actually stay dead in dark) Claudia explain him that it's bigger than everything. That the two worlds were created by an origin world. The Oldman tanahaus lost someone who he loved. He lost his son, daughter in law and granddaughter in a car accident. The death of his family made him do certain things that he shouldn't have done. He tried to create a time machine to bring them back from death. But instead his world was destroyed and split into two alternate realities. Jonas and Martha then travels to the origin world to avoid the accident and save the family of tanahaus.

This was all the storyline part but what made Dark one of the best series in my opinion is philosophy behind various scenes. Like at the end when Hannah and all the peoples who are now living in origin world having their meal and Hannah suddenly start to describe her dream..that she had a dream about apocalypse and the world ended and then she further say..even if it was end she felt free and happy. That is what happened to all the characters in alternate worlds they died and they were free. But also it dipicts the human life that after death everything we ever believed will be gone the memories will last for few years but one day there will be a time when our existence will end. So doing what makes us feel free is not wrong. The final moments of Martha and jonas made me tear up, the characters I cared about fulfilled their destiny and finally they will rest. When Martha said 'will it be over like this, like we never existed' that thing literally teared me apart. And the last " we are perfect for each other, never believe anything else " was so damn perfect.

Final thoughts- A great finale and sendoff to one of the best shows ever.

Filmanion rating - 8.9/ 10

Aarya Review.

One of the most anticipated web series of this year i.e Aarya is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. I was looking forward to the show since the moment I saw the trailer. And if you haven't seen it yet, go now and watch it. It was a thrilling experience, witnessing the comeback of Sushmita Sen, and oh my god what a comeback she made totally hands down it was one of the best performance of Sushmita Sen's career.  Aarya is a crime thriller limited series by Hotstar. It is a remake of a Dutch webseries penoza. And some people are ranting about it, but we should focus on the quality content they are providing. Despite being a remake Aarya has its own style of telling a compelling story. Storytelling was amazing, the thrill that starts from first episode stays with us till the final episode. Aarya is a story of a mafia family. The wife of a mafia didn't know about his business until he get shot by a rival. Then after him the wife takeover the business and during that how she faces

Dil Bechara Review.

Finally the most anticipated movie of this year, sushant's last film Dil Bechara released. It is now available on Disney+ Hotstar, and if you haven't watched it yet, go now and watch it. It's both beautiful and painful film at the same time. And I'm not saying this just because sushant's incident, but the movie itself is so emotional. It made me fall in love with Sushant all over again.  Storyline- Life is pretty unfair to both kizie and Manny. Dil Bechara is a story about two hopelessly in love youngsters, a young girl, kizie suffering from cancer and a boy, Manny, who she meet at a support group.  This is just the storyline, the actual movie is much more than that. The 1.42 hr movie takes you on a emotional rollercoaster ride. I felt every emotion that I could feel. Love, care, pain, that heart wrenching pain, and happiness.  Dil Bechara is based on the novel and remake of the Hollywood movie of same name, Fault in our stars. The original is so heartbreaking and p

Kappela Review- a thrilling experience that makes you think.

One of the movie which came to an halt due to the terrific environment we are living in now is a Malayalam movie kappela directed by MD. Mustafa. This is the very first attempt of mustafa in directing a movie. The debuting director is also a actor in malayalam cinema for quite sometime now. Kappela is a thriller film starring Anna Ben, Roshan Matthews and sreenath bhasi in leading roles. Kappela's story revolve around Jessy played by Anna Ben, a simple girl living with her family in countryside. Jessy's family is poor and rely on farming and tailoring work for their daily expenses. Connect with a auto-rickshaw driver Vishnu played by Roshan Matthews. Make them fall for each other. Due to the things happening in Jessy's life, she decides she want to meet Vishnu in person where they encounter a stranger  i.e  Roy played by sreenath bhasi. Then what happens in the story is the ultimate premise of the film.  Jessy a small town girl living with her family, helps her mother in ta
